San Antoni Ibiza beaches

The beaches of Sant Antoni de Portmany, or Sant Antoni, extending west of the island. About fifteen miles from Ibiza, this small town as a municipality has an area of one hundred and sixteen miles square. It has the closest port to the mainland, specifically the town of Denia, where we can take a boat, in a short and quick trip. The port has sports facilities from which we can practice various water sports.

In San Antonio we can clearly differentiate between the beaches used by residents of the municipality and casual tourists, and tourists typically beaches, frequented mainly by a pretty young English tourist. In this sense cAbe noted that the area known as West of San Antonio, is characterized by very wild nights, from revelry to chaos in a matter of minutes. If you are not accustomed to these environments, or will be accompanied by children, we recommend not to visit these areas late at night.

Environment on the beaches

The beaches are mainly national presence beach of Cala Gració , the beach of Cala Gracioneta and the beach of Cala Salada . They are well equipped beaches, small resorts and far from ideal for swimming and family environment.

In stark contrast, we find la beach of Es Pouet , the beach of Sant Antoni and to a lesser extent, the beach of Es Calo des Moro .

This town has quite striking two parties, one on January 17, during the celebrations of the patron saint, San Antonio Abad, with the traditional christening of animalevils in the sea and the other in summer, with a spectacular fireworks display enviable.
