The beaches of Sant Josep de Sa Talaia, or Sant Josep, extending from south of the island to the west. One of the biggest municipality of the island, and economically the most important. At about nine kilometers from Ibiza, this municipality has an area of ​​nearly one hundred miles square. The term is divided into small parishes, with its nerve center in the parish of Sant Josep, but do not go unnoticed parishes as Sant Jordi, Sant Agustí and Sant Francesc. The length of the stretches of coastline is quite broad and can find several beaches around the place, from Port d'es Torrent, adjacent to the town of Sant Antoni, to Playa d'en Bossa, sharing ownership with the municipality of Eivissa .

In general, the beaches of Sant Josep are beaches with calm waters. Most are small coves, quite closed and not very populated. Thus we can find the beach of Cala Carbo, Cala Vadella the beach, the Playa de Cala de Codolar, the Cala Moli beach or the beach of Cala Tarida. These widely contrasting coves with beaches, quite spacious, especially the area around the salt flats. In this sense we can find the beach is Xarcu, Playa de Cala des Cubells, Cala Bassa Beach, Playa de Port d'es Torrent beach or the Cala Jondal. Finally, the officially designated nudist beach, Playa de Cavallet.

It should be noted the views held by the municipality, including the beaches of Comte, where you can see the island of Hutch. However, the most spectacular of the island is visible from the beach of Cala D'Hort. Here stands a majestic island is Vedra, known as energy point of the planet and home to countless myths and legends.
