Cala Llonga is about 12 km from Ibiza Town and about 6.5 km from Santa Eulalia, in the Roca Llisa and Valverde area, which is also home to the Ibiza golf course.

Getting there is easy. From Ibiza, take the exit towards Jesús and follow the signs to the golf course; when you reach it, turn left and carry straight on to the cove. From Santa Eulalia, take the road towards Ibiza and, after a few metres, the turn-off for Siesta. The road is in good condition, so you can even go by bike, and the bus stops right by the beach.

What you will find at Cala Llonga

It is one of the deepest coves in Ibiza and is well sheltered from the waves. The first stretches of coastline are built up, facing a beach that is about 200 metres long and about 100 wide. The seabed slopes very gently, so there is a wide strip where you can swim in peace.

The bottom is sandy, which makes it a delight for little ones.

There are plenty of facilities: as well as the parasols lining the front row, there is everything you need for beach and water sports. The ones that let you explore the cove from the water are the best choice, because walking over the rocks has its risks.

The secrets of Cala Llonga

Because the bay is so deep, it hides small, very sheltered coves that are almost invisible from the beach and can barely be reached on foot: little-known unspoilt coves full of charm.

If you go by bus, check the timetable carefully: missing the last one can be a problem. To get around freely, we recommend a hire car.
