We already have list of blue flags that last in Ibiza during all 2013. This listing, offered by the organization Blue Flag, awarded to beaches that meet a set of minimum requirements in terms of safety, quality of water, environmental regulation and services.
Blue flags in Ibiza 2013
They are divided between the towns of Sant Josep and Santa Eulària. The first are mostly oriented to the West. This will allow us to enjoy incredible sunsets and sunrise to sunset hours. Belonging to Santa Eulària beaches receive the sun before although notable for a wide range of services.
Blue flags in Sant Josep
Ses Salines or Playa de las Salinas Probably the beach with more famous per square metre in the world. Located in the South of the island, Ses Salines has many corners to discover. And we are not only talking about the place where to place our towel. On one side of the beach there are small coves where to enjoy something more intimate, if it is that here it is possible.
Cala D’hort One of the most spectacular beaches of Ibiza. Its privileged to the small island of Es Vedra views have become an almost magical place. The sunset is quite a spectacle. Remember that for that hour already will not be buses and you’ll need a rental car to your accommodation.
Cala Tarida or Cala Vadella. No end to agree on the name of this singular Cove. If the beach is beautiful, nothing to envy to its surroundings. With proper precautions, Cala Vedella is a real pleasure for the curious. Also spectacular is the sunset. Do not miss it.
Cala Tarida. This beach has the more curious corners that you can find on the island. After leaving behind their Beach, quite wide, lost occur one after another. Amazing accommodation with sea views. And, again, the sunset. The West coast of the island gives pictures to remember.
Platges de Compte, popularly known as Cala Conta. We could regard it as beach residents by default. Small beaches separated by some rocks comprise a group of beaches for the enjoyment of everyone.
Blue flags in Santa Eulària
Cala Llenya The more the list unknown to the general public. Cala Llenya is a beach very familiar with a large number of services. Located north of Santa Eulària, has a rocky wall that we will protect from the wind day blowing hard from the West.
Santa Eulària The only urban beach which has received a blue flag. It is distributed along the seafront of the town, crowded and full of services.
Cala Llonga One of the most unique beaches on the island. You will recognize it by its colorful umbrella located just before entering the sea. The Cove, very elongated and protected from the sea, has spectacular surroundings.
Playa des Riu The only beach in Balearic Islands formed by the mouth of a river. A place with lot of aquatic fauna. Perfect for lovers of quiet rides.
Es Canar One of the most picturesque places of the Ibizan geography. It is Canar is well known for its hippie, not so much for its beach flea market, but it might be a good time to combine both.
