Located in the municipality of Sant Joan de Labritja, next to the well-known Cala Portinatx, we Find the Torre de Portinatx, a coastal surveillance TOWER built in the eighteenth century. Perfectly visible from the shore of Cala Portinatx Beach, reaching it can be more a matter of luck than a definite path. To start We must take the road that connects the coastal area with the urban nucleus of Sant Joan. We Can opt for the West Road, visiting the landscape formed by Cala Xarraca and Cala Xuclà, or by the east, approaching the town of Sant Vicent. In the first of the cases, we will have to take, before arriving to Portinatx, the detour that indicates Sa Torre, on the left. Once we have the tower in sight, we must leave the paved road to take a deviation on land. The latter is quite important, because although the asphalt road leads to the tower, there is a protection fence that prevents us from passing a fantastic view over the coast and the tower Of Portinatx.
