We will find in Playa del Río de Santa Eulalia

When you reach the square of the city hall, we must look for parking, and not let the first one we catch, because the nerve center is full of shops and its activity is constant in both summer and winter.

Once we park, or get off the bus, we will only have to take the direction to the sea, always down the street. Depending on where we stop, we will have to turn right when you get to the promenade. Along the way, and in this order, we can find the marina, the beach of Santa Eularia and a fountain that will allow us access by a ramp to the beach itself.

If we prefer to choose the site, we can take a short walk through which we will reach the mouth of the river Santa Eularia, the only river in the Balearic Islands.

The beach consists of an area of about three hundred and fifty meters long by about ten meters wide, where we can rest on sand banks that have been built at the confluence of the river with the sea. They stand out as one of the whitest sands of Ibiza. Once in the water, on the ground we will find sandy pieces, with boulders of fluvial origin and gravel. The sea bed we are going to find has a sharp slope, descending rapidly from the ten meters. The marine fauna in this area is quite abundant, being able to find areas of vegetation that shelter different underwater species.

The wind usually blows almost always inland, in a soft way, which provides great safety for bathing and water sports.

Comfort on the beach of Santa Eulalia River

When you are close to the city centre you can enjoy all the comforts that are offered in the beautiful and quiet town. If you prefer to take a walk, you can go along the River Promenade, which runs on both sides of the riverbank, and where you will find plenty of places to rest in the shelter of trees and thickets. If we choose the sport, we can always access the beach of Santa Eularia, full of sporting activities.
