Discovering Cala Portinatx

In fact, it is a gulf in the far north, the furthest from Ibiza, where we can count four beaches, the beach of Port de Portinatx, s’arenal Gros, s’arenal Petit and Es Racó. Port de Portinatx presents an almost square beach of about forty meters. S’arenal Gros is an irregularly shaped beach of more than one hundred and fifty meters with widths varying from ten to eighty meters. S’arenal Petit barely reaches sixty meters by fifty wide. Finally Es Raco, about one hundred and thirty meters by thirty-five wide. It can be reached through the road, either by car or by bus from Ibiza. Note that the northern part of the island has enough slopes, so moving bicycling is not recommended. Once at Portinatx we can move from a beach to another without major problems. We will find in the cove of Portinatx

They are natural sand beaches , quite fine, with some other rock. The seabed has basically the same aspect, with some veto and enough marine fauna, so we will enjoy a lot if we wear some diving goggles. Also, the slope of the beach is quite scarce, so we can enjoy forty meters in which we will stand. The wind usually blows from land to sea inside, but as it is typical in the area, are fairly loose winds that pose no danger to the bathroom. The area is also marked and there are parasol and hammock services. It is worth highlighting the views of the four beaches, with adentrandose natural rock ledges in the sea. The Cala de Portinatx presents a small urban nucleus in which we will be able to cover all our necessities, with shops and souvenirs, restaurants and recreational areas. There are several accommodations in case we want to choose this area for our holiday. Regarding the fun, we can enjoy pedalos, and there are sailing, motonaútica and diving schools. We can also practice windsurfing.
